I’ve never had a very linear career.
I started in Mexico designing interfaces and digital work, then moved into motion, VFX, 3D, websites, art direction, and interactive experiences. Over time, projects became bigger, stranger, and harder to define. I’ve worked on things that live on a phone, things that fill entire rooms, things people play with, things people walk through, and things that only have one chance to work because thousands of people are waiting outside. Each new discipline taught me something that became useful somewhere else. That became my way of working.
How I work?
I learn what the project needs.
I don’t expect to know the answer immediately.
Usually I start by understanding the problem, trying things, breaking a few assumptions, and finding the simplest solution that actually works.
If I don’t know a tool, I learn it.
If one approach fails, I try another.
I’ve been doing that for most of my career.
Adaptability is probably my strongest skill.
What I bring?
I’m useful when things get complicated.
I’m comfortable working between design, technology, storytelling, and production. I can develop ideas, give creative direction, make things myself, guide younger designers, give feedback, and help teams move from “we have an idea” to “this is actually working.” I especially enjoy projects that are playful, interactive, or difficult to put into a traditional category.
